"ROLES AND FUNCTIONS OF AN EDUCATIONAL MEDIA CENTER"
E-learning as of today are rapidly growth due the implication of the DepED especially in elementary level. It is implemented for the student to have fun of learning and helps to bring the replica of the real situation through the use of media. The EMC facilitates our job and ready to help when teachers don't have the confident in using laptop or other instructional materials.We need to find a media specialist and technician if there's problem arises. That's why every school must have media specialists.They play a major role in maintaining, caring and promote the effective use of educational media for the teachers to have an effective teaching in a classroom.

"ASSESSMENT IN A CONSTRUCTIVIST TECHNOLOGY- SUPPORTED LEARNING"
Assessment means analyzing and describing student's progress and achievement;in a constructivist way not merely knowledge. Authentic assessment is one of the constructivist used in a classroom especially in rating the output of the student. So, it needs rubric to facilitate scoring.
In application to the technology subject,it is not merely memorizing the parts but an integration of the skills that could enhance their ability. Example, teacher first introduce the parts then let have a hand-on-minds-on activity. There is a combination of a traditional and authentic assessment.

"USING THE PROJECT-BASED LEARNING MULTIMEDIA AS A TEACHING-LEARNING STRATEGY"
One of the difficult tasks in teaching is the implementing of projects as a teaching learning strategy. The design tasks depends on what a teacher desires to observe as outputs of the students. We have a lot to consider.
1.complexity- the level of complexity of the projects need to be within the range of the ability of the students
2.appeal- be interesting to encourage the students to complete the tasks
3.creativity- must exercise creativity and divergent thinking
4.goal-based -must attain the learning objectives
Preplanning must emphasize, introduce the tasks,inform the guidelines and provide the steps.Using the strategy enable the students to remember and understand better as they perform the real-world tasks.

It is useful in a high school students because they will seek for a more abstract project as they grew older.They are not only learning in academe but it will enhance their skills for preparation in the future. It is indeed an innovative learning that emphasizes the total development of a child to be a complete person. So, it's a great tasks for a teacher to think for a good project that must be on a goal-based.

"Maximizing the Use of the Overhead Projector and the Chalkboard"
The Chalkboard is indeed a very traditional but a helpful instructional equipment when technology is not present in the remote areas. It is most common in public schools especially those far from the city. Teachers shall be guided that in writing,don't turn your back to your class,write side view as you talk and write clearly and eligibly on the board.
The OHP is a prepared transparencies that can be reusable. Thus, maintains eye contact to the students.

"Pictures worth a thousand words" A person who can sees visual symbols create varied thoughts that can elevate their level of thinking. Thus, enhancing their higher order thinking skills in such a way they can construct words through pictures. Teaching with visuwl symbols enable the students to understand easily the topic, express their ideas and creative minds.

Film,Video,T.V. are medium of communication. It is a more accessible and less cumbersome to use. Students today tend to be an inquisitive learners. They wants vivid pictures,innovative teaching and fun learning.Television is one of the current source of learning. We can have an update news,and educational learning through a discovery channel. That's why E-TV in school is being implemented by the policy makers because it can help the teachers in elaborating his lesson. But before conducting the activity,teacher should inform the students about the lesson objectives to ensure learning objectives.

Going outside the community in searching for more knowledge and information beyond the classroom is what we called field trips. Before conducting field trip,it should have preparations and planning. Setting of the objectives,permission of the concerned personnel,safetiness of the students,transportation and purpose of the trip should be given an emphasis.To picture out a complete learning achievements,teachers should discuss the objectives to the students to ensure that the community resources are use for learning,not just for fun. For them to arouse their curiosity in sensing the real world that could widen their horizon of being a student.

Demonstrating in teaching is a great advantage to students because they can watch a certain process to be done. They have an opportunity to asks questions about the demonstration because it is an open-ended question.Be sure that before doing it, set first your goals/objectives wither the specific demonstrations would meet to the student needs.Try to consider that learners know nothing or a little for them to arouse their curiosity and interest.When the students learned how to be a keen-observer,then have an evaluation by by doing such thing like what you have demonstrated. This teaching strategy is most applicable in science,and home economics subject.

"Act what you've got!" the famous expression that could relate to dramatization. Teachers who used his/her learners in acting what they have learned will likely develop their sense of creativity and their skills.It is an effective way to simulate situations by actually letting the students act on stage. Role playing is the best assessment method in performance test. Why? Because teachers will elicit information from the students wither they understand the lesson or not through showing what they got during discussion.It is good thing to note that through role playing, students will enhance their communication skills and provide a showcase talent to them. And as a future teachers,we should be guided on its uses. Preschoolers up to elementary level will be enjoying if we should be creative in our teaching methods like having a puppet show and tablue. They're not only enjoying from it but also learning.
